How to Sign Into Zoom for the First Time

1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://ntc.zoom.us and click Sign in

   

   
   2. Sign in using your NTC student email address
   TIP: Your email address will end with @students.ntc.edu

   

   
   3. Enter your password and click Sign in
   TIP: This is the same password you use for Canvas, NTC email, MyNTC, etc.

   

   
   4. After logging in you will need to confirm your email address by clicking on the Confirm your email address

   

   
   5. A confirmation email to your NTC student email address

   

   
   6. Log into your NTC student email account and locate the confirmation email from Zoom

   

   
   7. Open the email and click on Activate Account

   

   
   8. After clicking Activate Account you will be brought to a new webpage. Click on Sign in with SSO.
   TIP: You may be requested to enter your company domain. The company domain is NTC.
   TIP: You may also be asked to sign in again after clicking on Sign in with SSO.
   

   

To Download the Zoom Client:

1. Navigate to https://zoom.us/download
   

2. Click on Download under Zoom Client for Meetings

3. Click on Save

4. Click on the installer located in the lower left hand corner of your web browser.
TIP: This may look different depending on the type of web browser you are using.

5. Locate the Zoom application and click on Sign In

6. Click on Sign in with SSO

7. Enter ntc in the Company Domain and click on Continue

8. You will be redirected to a log in page. Enter your NTC username and password and click Sign in
TIP: This is the same username and password you use for your email, MyNTC, Canvas, etc.

9. Click on Open Zoom Meetings

10. When you see the following application window you have successfully installed and logged into the zoom application.
