Staff Connect to Your H Drive On Your Personal Computer

NOTE: Instructions created for Windows 10

TIP: To follow the instructions provided you must have the Cisco AnyConnect client installed. If you do not, click here for installation instructions.

 

  1. Locate and open the Cisco Secure Client installed on your computer.

2. Enter myfiles.ntc.edu as shown below and click on Connect.

3. Enter your NTC email address and click on Next.

4. Enter your Password and click on Sign In.

TIP: This is the same username and password used for email, Canvas, or MyNTC.

5. When you are successfully connected a lock will appear on the icon in your task bar.

6. Right click your desktop and choose New and choose Shortcut.

7. In the Type the location of the item: text box enter the following.
\\waufil4.ntc.edu\Employees\yourusername and click Next.

8. When prompted to enter your NTC email address and password and select Remember my credentials and click OK.

9. Enter a name for your newly created shortcut and click Finish.
