Mobile Printing for iOS On Your Personal Device

In order to print to a NTC copier or printer from your personal iOS device follow the written or video instructions below.

  1. Make sure the device is connected to the NTCGuest network.

NOTE: You must be on a NTC campus to connect to the NTCGuest network.

NOTE: You will need to make sure that Private Relay is turned off. This is in your network/ Wi-Fi settings.

  1. Open a document or item from the iOS device.

NOTE: In this example are using Microsoft Word.

  1. Click the three-dots in the upper right-hand corner.

  1. Choose Print.

  1. Select a printer destination by tapping on Select Printer.

  1. Select followme_bw or followme_color.

NOTE: Followme_bw is for black and white, which costs $0.05 per side of a page.
Followme_color is for color, and costs $0.25 per side of a page.

  1. Use the options to change the color setting and/or number of copies. Then click the printer icon.

  1. When prompted enter your username (email) and password.

NOTE: This is the same username and password used for Workday and Canvas. Your username is your email (student@students.ntc.edu or staff@ntc.edu).

  1. After logging in, go to the printer and enter your credentials again to release your print job.
