Mobile Printing for Android

In order to print to a NTC copier or printer from your personal device follow the written or video instructions below.

  1. Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to NTCGuest.

NOTE: You must be on a NTC campus to connect to the NTCGuest network.

  1. Install the Mobility Print app from the Google Play Store.

  2. There is a button in the app to make sure the service is running. Click on it to check.

NOTE: You cannot have power saving on when trying to print.

  1. Give permissions to the app.

  2. Find the print option within your app or select share and send copy to the printer.

    1. In the example below, there is a document open in the Microsoft Word app.

    2. Click the three dots in the upper-right hand corner.

    3. Select the print button (second from the bottom).

6. Select Followme_bw for black and white, or followme_color for color.

NOTE: You may have to choose ‘Mobile Print’ beforehand depending on your version of Android OS.

NOTE: Students are charged $0.05 for black and white and $0.25 for color.

7. When prompted enter your username (email) and password and tap on Sign in and Print.

NOTE: This is the same username and password used for Workday. Your username is your email (student@students.ntc.edu, or staff@ntc.edu).
