Installing Omnissa Horizon Client

Instructions written for Windows 11.

  1. Go to https://virtuallab.ntc.edu.

  1. Click on go to downloads.

  1. Click on download.

  1. Save the download file (if it prompts you to).

  2. Go back to your downloads folder, and double-click on the downloaded file to open it.

  1. Click agree.

  1. Click finish.

  1. Click restart later.

  1. In your search bar, search for Omnissa. Click open.

  1. Click add server.

  1. Type in virtuallab.ntc.edu.

  1. Enter in your NTC student/staff email and password. Click login.

NOTE: This is the same login information as Canvas, Workday, and email.

  1. All of the virtual computers that are connected to your account will show up. Click on one to use it.

NOTE: When you are done using a virtual machine, shut it down like a normal computer instead of clicking the X at the top-right. The machine may experience some issues if you do click the X to exit out.
