How to Encrypt and Send Scanned Documents

  1. Scan your badge at the printer, or login to it.

  2. Click device functions.

  1. Click the green scanner button in the main part of the screen.

NOTE: You can also click the scanner(classic) button in the top bar of the printer screen, but it leads to a different screen. Go to step 7 for instructions.

Green scanner button is in the left-middle column, at the top. Scanner(classic) is located in the middle of the bar at the top of the printer screen.
  1. Click send settings.

The send settings button is on the right-middle side of the printer screen.
  1. Scroll down and tap on the security button in the bottom left-hand corner.

Security button is in the very bottom of the list, on the left.
  1. Click the check mark next to encryption, then click ok.

There are two options on this screen, encryption is the top option. The check mark button is on the left side of the word encryption. Ok is in the top right-hand corner.
  1. If you click the scanner(classic) option, click security in the bottom middle of the screen.

After clicking scanner(classic) click on security, it is located in the middle section of the screen, an inch from the bottom.
  1. Click encryption in the middle of the screen, then ok.

Encryption is located in the middle of the screen, towards the left. Ok is in the middle section, at the top right-hand corner of it.
  1. After you select ok in both options, you can change the other scan settings to include another email to send it to.

    1. If you do not add another email, it will send it to the email that you are logged into the printer with.

  2. Click start.
