XPress Entry Attendance Kiosk Setup

  1. Charge the kiosk stands the day before the event to allow a full charge.

  2. Power them up and make sure you give them a couple of minutes to sync and become fully ready.

  3. In the top left-hand corner, click the three lines.

The three lines appear in the top-right corner. Click it to continue.
  1. Click the checkmark next to lock to entry.

A menu will appear on the left side. The third option down is lock to entry. Click the checkmark to the right of it to make sure it is on.
  1. The stand is now ready to log attendance for the event.

 


XPress Entry Reporting Feature

  1. After your event is done and you are done scanning for attendance, go to https://xpressentry.ntc.edu/.

NOTE: If you get a warning, click advanced and proceed anyway.

  1. Use your login to access your profile, then click login.

Enter in your username and password, then click login below where you entered in your credentials.
  1. Once you are logged in, click reports in the menu on the left side.

Reports will appear as the top option in the menu on the left side after you login.
  1. Click on your report name.

In the page on the right side will be your report. Click the report name that you need.
  1. Click the filter icon in the top right-hand corner of the report page.

At the top right of the report will be three buttons. The filter button will be the far right button.
  1. Adjust the date/time to match the date you want to run the report for.

NOTE: Today works if you only have one event running for the entire day. Otherwise, you can choose “custom date range” and select your date and time.

A new menu will appear, select the time that best fits the event.
  1. Click filter at the bottom of the screen.

Click filter at the bottom of the page after you select a date and time.
  1. Once the filter has been applied, you can either export to CSV (Excel) or PDF. Click the option you want in the top right-hand corner near the filter button.

At the top right side of your report is three buttons. The left is PDF, the middle one is CSV (Excel). Click the one you need exported.

NOTE: If this is your first time exporting a report, you will need to allow popups.

  • Click on the pop-up blocked button at the top of your screen in the address bar.

  • Click always allow, then done.

If you have not exported a report before, you will need to go to the top of your screen to the address bar. On the right-side of the address bar will be a pop-up blocked button. Click on it.
A menu will appear, select the top option of always allow, then click done at the bottom right.
  1. After you click on CSV or PDF, it will download to your computer.

    1. PDF will allow you to use it right away.

    2. In the CSV file, you need to format the timestamp column into the time and date format of your choosing.

 

To Adjust the Column in Excel:

  1. Highlight the column by either clicking at the top of the column, or clicking and dragging until the last cell.

Highlight all the cells in the timestamp column in your exported csv Excel file.
  1. Right-click the column letter and select format cells.

Right-click on the highlighted column and click format cells in the menu that appears. It will be the 4th option up from the bottom of the menu.
  1. Select date in the category column, then click the type of date you want displayed in the report.

  2. Click ok.

In the new menu, in the number tab, go down to date on the left-side menu. Then in the menu on the right, select the date and time format that fits what you want to see in the report.
  1. This will update your timestamp column similar to how it looks below.

Your timestamp column will now be updated to the format you selected.
  1. Save your report.
