Staff_Microsoft Products (Office 365) for Windows

Instructions created for Windows 10

As a NTC staff member you are entitled to Microsoft Office products at no cost. You can install Office on up to five devices.

Installing Office 365

  1. Sign into your NTC staff email at https://outlook.office365.com/ntc.edu

  2. Click the waffle next to Outlook located at the top left of the page.

 

3. Click on Office 365

4. Click on Install Office

 

5. For 32-bit Office installations select Office 365 apps


6. Click the OfficeSetup.exe file at the bottom left of the window.
TIP: Depending on which web browser you are using the download options may look different.


7. If you have any other Office applications currently open, you will be prompted to save your work.

TIP: Make sure you save any changes you have made in any Office application before clicking Continue, as it will forcibly close any open documents.

 

8. If you receive a User Account Control pop up asking “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device” click on Yes.

 

9. Microsoft Office will automatically start downloading and installing.


10. Click Close

11. Open any Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

12. Click Continue

 

13. Click on Next.

 

14. Click on Work or school account.

15. Enter your password and click Sign in.
TIP: This is the same password you use for Canvas, MyNTC, etc.

 

16. Uncheck the box next to allow, then click OK.

 

17. Click Done.

 

18. Click Accept.
