When signing into Workday/Canvas for the first time, you will come across a screen that says more information required. Click next.
If you are not able to access the Microsoft Authenticator app due to not having a phone or another circumstance, click the “I want to set up a different method” button shown below.
NOTE: If you are not a dual-credit student or have not been otherwise directed to click this button, please call the NTC IT Help Desk at 7158031160, so that we can assist you with Authenticator.
In the dropdown menu, select phone, and click confirm.
Enter in your full phone number that you have access to receive SMS text messages to, then click next.
You will be sent an SMS message to the phone number you entered with a random 6 digit number, enter that into the text box and click next.
Click done.
Your phone is now set up as your authentication method.
