Installing Cisco AnyConnect on a student’s personal computer. Administrative rights are needed for the installation.
Instructions
Open a web browser and enter https://myfiles.ntc.edu
Enter your Student email address and Password and click Logon
TIP: This is the same username and password used for email, Canvas, or MyNTC.
3. Click Download & Install to install the Cisco AnyConnect application. Instructions are provided by clicking on the instructions link in the lower right corner.
TIP: If you receive the following message you already have the application installed and can proceed to step 5.
4. After the installation of the Cisco AnyConnect application reboot your computer.
5. After the reboot of your computer look in the start menu for the newly installed application.
6. Enter myfiles.ntc.edu as shown below and click on Connect
7. Enter your Student email address and Password and click on OK
TIP: This is the same username and password used for email, Canvas, or MyNTC.
8. When you are successfully connected a lock will appear on the icon in your task bar.
TIP: To disconnect, right click the icon in the task bar and choose Disconnect.
