Student Cisco Secure Client Install

NOTE: Installing Cisco Secure Client on a student’s personal computer. Administrative rights are needed for the installation.
Instructions
Open a web browser and enter https://myfiles.ntc.edu.
Enter your NTC student email address and Password and click Logon.
NOTE: This is the same username and password used for email, Canvas, or Workday.
3. Click Download & Install to install the Cisco AnyConnect application. Instructions are provided by clicking on the instructions link in the lower right corner.
TIP: If you receive the following message you already have the application installed and can proceed to step 5.
4. After the installation of the Cisco Secure Client application reboot your computer.
5. After the reboot of your computer look in the start menu for Cisco Secure Client.
6. Enter myfiles.ntc.edu as shown below and click on Connect
7. Enter your NTC student email address and click Next.
NOTE: Your email address ends in @students.ntc.edu.
8. Enter your password and click Sign in.
NOTE: This is the same password used for email, Canvas, or Workday.
Next you will need to approve your Authenticator notification. Type in the numbers shown on your screen to the notification prompt on your phone.
When you are successfully connected a lock will appear on the icon in your task bar.
NOTE: To disconnect, right click the icon in the task bar and choose Disconnect. Otherwise, it will disconnect when you shut down or restart your computer.
