How to Sign Into Zoom for the First Time

1. Go to Open a web browser and navigate to https://ntc.zoom.us and click sign Sign in

   

   
   2. Sign in using your NTC student email address
   TIP: Your email address will end with @students.ntc.edu

   

   
   3. Enter your NTC student passwordpassword and click Sign in
   TIP: This is the same password you use for Canvas, NTC email, MyNTC, etc.

   

   
   4. After logging in , please you will need to confirm your email address by clicking on the Confirm your email address

   

   
   5. They will send a A confirmation email to your NTC student email address

   

   
   6. Go to Log into your NTC student email in Outlook account and find locate the confirmation email from Zoom

   

   
   7. Click Open the email and click on Activate Account in the email

   

   
   8. After clicking on Activate Account , it will bring you you will be brought to a new pagewebpage. Click on sign Sign in with SSO. Type in NTC if needed. Then sign in with your student account again, if needed
   TIP: You may be requested to enter your company domain. The company domain is NTC.
   TIP: You may also be asked to sign in again after clicking on Sign in with SSO.

To Download the Zoom Client:

1. Navigate to https://zoom.us/download
   

2. Click on Download under Zoom Client for Meetings

4. Click on the installer located in the lower left hand corner of your web browser.
TIP: This may look different depending on the type of web browser you are using.

8. You will be redirected to a log in page. Enter your NTC username and password and click Sign in
TIP: This is the same username and password you use for your email, MyNTC, HR, Canvas, etc.

9. Click on Open Zoom Meetings

10. When you see the following application window you have successfully installed and logged into the zoom application. TIP:In order to host a Zoom meeting you will need to be logged into this application.
