2-factor authentication makes it more difficult for someone other than yourself to sign-in to your Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive applications. This is part of NTC’s continuous effort to enhance overall security and protect your accounts from unauthorized access.

Instructions

  • When Duo has been enabled for your Outlook\Teams account, you will continue to receive notifications on your mobile device for new messages\emails as show below.

  • When you click on the notification to view the full message, you will be prompted to re-enter your password. Enter your password and click Sign in.

  • If you have Duo 2-factor authentication on your smartphone, click the Send Me a Push button. If you have a Duo fob, click the Enter a Passcode button.

  • If you clicked Send me a Push, click on the Duo push notification on your phone and click Approve. If you clicked Enter a Passcode, enter the number on your Duo fob and click Log In.

  • You have successfully Duo 2-factor authenticated and Outlook\Teams will finish signing you in.

You must Duo 2-factor authenticate into Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive separately. Signing-in to one application, does not automatically sign you in to the others

You will be required to Duo 2-factor authenticate into Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive again every 14 days from this point on
