2-factor authentication makes it more difficult for someone other than yourself to sign-in to your Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive applications. This is part of NTC’s continuous effort to enhance overall security and protect your accounts from unauthorized access.

When Duo has been enabled for your Outlook\Teams account, you will continue to receive notifications on your mobile device for new messages\emails as show below.
When you click on the notification to view the full message, you will be prompted to re-enter your password. Enter your password and click Sign in.
If you have Duo 2-factor authentication on your smartphone, click the Send Me a Push button. If you have a Duo fob, click the Enter a Passcode button.
If you clicked Send me a Push, click on the Duo push notification on your phone and click Approve. If you clicked Enter a Passcode, enter the number on your Duo fob and click Log In.
You have successfully Duo 2-factor authenticated and Outlook\Teams will finish signing you in.
You must Duo 2-factor authenticate into Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive separately. Signing-in to one application, does not automatically sign you in to the others
You will be required to Duo 2-factor authenticate into Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive again every 14 days from this point on
