Printing from your computer

  1. Select File > Print within your application and then choose "FollowMe" as your printer option. Choose "FollowMe_BW" for black and white prints or choose "FollowMe_COLOR" if you want color prints. (Note - the "Paused" status is normal.)



TIP: Print jobs are held for a maximum of six days before they are automatically deleted.

2. Approach the copier and enter your username and password.
TIP: This is the same username and password that is used for signing into Canvas and Student email.

3. You will now see your Papercut Follow Me options, including your print release queue and notification of any pending print jobs. When you are finished press the "Log out" button in the top right.

Print Release Steps

  1. Tapping 'Print Release' will take you to the print release menu. Here you will see your pending print jobs and can adjust your print job settings. If you'd like to simply print your document you may check the box to left of the document name and then select print in the bottom right corner.

2. If you'd like to access your print settings. Click the sideways arrow to the side of your print job. Below is an example of what the print jobs settings will look like. You may print your job from the settings page as well.


TIP: Print jobs are heled for a maximum of six days before they are automatically deleted.

Device Functions Steps

  1. Tapping 'Device Functions' will take you to the familiar Ricoh copier screen. Here you can use the old scanner feature, the copier, and the fax. Settings may also be accessed here. (Note – With Follow Me printing we are no longer using address books for scanning as we used to. All scanning should be done within the new "Scan" feature.)

2. When you would like to return to the Follow Me printing menu just click the PaperCut MF icon on your screen. You may also select the back arrow to the left of the Home button.

  1. Tapping "Scan" will take you to a new scanning feature on your copier. This will open up all your scanning options you have available to you. If you find a needed option missing please contact your IT help desk. (Note – The below screenshots may not be exact to what you see.)

2. In this case I am choosing to scan to my email, but you may choose whichever option you prefer. If you are satisfied with the document you may choose to 'Start scanning". If you would like to change the settings tap the settings button.
