Using a Barco ClickShare

Instructions created for Windows 10

 

  1. Insert the ClickShare button into an open USB port on your laptop.

 

2. Once inserted, the ClickShare button will start flashing a white light. This indicates the ClickShare button has been recognized by your laptop.

 

3. Depending on the version of windows you have installed, go to My Computer, Computer, or This PC on your laptop. The ClickShare button will appear as a removeable storage device. Double click the ClickShare icon.
TIP: The device may be assigned a letter other than E:

4. Double click the ClickShare for Windows file.

5. A small dialog box appear letting you know the ClickShare button is making connection to the base unit. It will disappear once the connection to the base unit has been established.

6. Once the ClickShare button is connected the flashing white light will turn solid white. Press the ClickShare button to start sharing. The light will turn from solid white to solid red to indicate you are sharing your screen.

7. To disconnect simply remove the ClickShare button from the USB port on your laptop.
